Governor appoints new Mass Media Director

The governor of the northern Uige province Thursday sworn in the new provincial director of Mass Media, Andeiro João, recently appointed under the governor's decree.

 

Andeiro João, ex-editor of the national radio station (RNA) replaced José Eduardo Oliveira Xavier, who led the sector for about eight months. Paulo Pombo also swore in other members, mostly from his office, with stress to the assistant director of the governor's office, Abel Benga Rosario Nsingui.

 

According to the Angola Press Agency (Angola press) on 15 April 2010, João was sworn in together with Joaquim Gimbe who will serve as advisor to the provincial governor, and Mendes Domingos, head of department of studies and projects of the planning office. Speaking at the swearing in ceremony, the provincial governor urged the new members to work hard on tasks in which they were appointed.
